Dr. Saadeldin Bahr is a remarkable physician and humanitarian with a passion for serving others. He holds an M.B.Ch.B. degree in Medicine and Surgery from both Alexandria University and the University of British Columbia, then the Canadian Board and fellowship, where he has dedicated his career to helping those in need. Before immigrating to Canada, Dr. Bahr worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), where he made countless contributions worldwide in relief and humanitarian/medical work towards distressed people and refugees at various locations.
In Canada, Dr. Bahr has made a significant impact in establishing the Muslim community in the Tri Cities region of Vancouver lower mainland. In 1995, he rented a place at his own cost and effort to gather the community for Friday and the five daily prayers and to celebrate Islamic events and Eids.
